Alright all,
Thought I'd post my night out on friday. Just a nice relaxing one without a great deal of hiking involved which made a nice change!

The spot is a lovely bit of mixed woodland and the weather was around 4oC with a light breeze. Perfect!

Set up camp and it was the first time out for my buddy's Tenth Wonder Green Hornet, made me some what envious as my DD is starting to show its age....

We didn't get there till around 7 so once the shelters were up, next to get the fire on!

Next job; Food! On the menu we had some Sirloin Steak which we spitted over the fire, and I've got to say its one of the most delicious steaks I've ever eaten. Smokey, juicy, tender steak. Pretty much like Ponassing fish, but beefy :).

On the side we had caramalised red onions and garlic and sage bannock..... Meant to take a pic of the meal before I started but it was far too delicious :D

It was a beautiful night with a huge Moon, perfect for relaxing with a few wee drams...

Got a decent nights sleep despite having that common hammocking ailment of a cold back, need to get myself an underblanket I think.
A great sunny start to the day and nothing better to do that lay in the hammock and eat bacon, brilliant!

Headed off home about 1pm after making sure everything was left as we found it....

It is a Cornelius tarp by Tenth Wonder. Came with everything needed to set up too. Was a great night but agree that an underblanket is the way forward, oh and not losing our hats.
