Hi, afraid I don't have an Instagram account. Did you secure the shock cord inside the belt loop, or inside that triangular thumb piece. Pic below.....
The loop is secured at the top of the belt loop, just tied a knot in it to form a loop, open the belt loop on the sheath, slide the loop over the now open sheath, put the knot in the button hole area and close the sheath, job done.

Btw, you shouldn't need an infra acct to see the piccie if you access it on a computer

Thanks man, appreciate the tip Ill get on it.
I have a Hultafors HD knife as well...with a frankly massive handle for my liking. I think I'll take the sander to that one as well and get rid of the guard at the same time.
I'm wondering if trying to heat form the plastic sheath around the pimped handle may be an option as well?

Just pimped the handle of the Hultafors GK and followed your advice Re shock cord Kepis. Thanks, really appreciated.....
I went too deep with the finger choil....the perils of changing my mind halfway through...but all in all a much more usable knife for my hands.
Sorry, bit off topic, but worth highlighting how easy it is to adapt cheap knives....
Again i ground the blade profile slightly as well....
