Yep - pretty dire to be honest. Just Vodka with a weird after taste. Not right on so many levels.

KFC pieces of more accurately COTWKFC pieces were on point and difficult to discern from the real thing.

Wasn’t your finest hour on the vodka front I guess.

I have never found it despite being on the lookout for it. You never know what you are going to come across though. I found a Destroying Angel mushroom this week. You don't want to be having that even with brown sauce.

A lovely specimen today. Just a little bit old but plenty of fresh bits so I took those. I was looking for the last of the ceps but didn’t find any, lots of chanterelle though.

Some of it was put on Saturday evenings pizza. The rest will be used in various dishes this week as a substitute for meat.
