Cheap Cotton Sateen at Dunelm

Just a heads-up. My local branch of Dunelm are selling their cotton sateen at £2.50 a meter (137cm wide). Comes in a range of colours, and looks like it will be fine for making toiles. Don't know if it's on offer at other branches, but I don't see it on their web site. Might be worth having a look if there's a store not too far away.

The other side is pretty close to a plain weave, and doesn't have any sheen. If I were to use it as a lining, I think I'd use the wrong side as the right side.

Turns out that it's reasonably wind resistant - about enough to stop a decent breeze, maybe. With two layers, it's very good indeed - can barely get any breath through it.
