carved some kuksa

Well it looks like I somehow managed to post pictures. How did that happen.

Did these a while back. Been looking at lots of other posts so I thought I should share.

Again great do you buy your timber or is it got from foraging ?

The picture with the 2 in it are the first ones I did. Darker one is burr elm and leaks. Lighter one I don't know but its very light. I finished the bottom off with the crook knife for all those dimples.

The wood usually comes from the log pile just before the chainsaw gets it!

Normal birch logs have some great grain to them.
