In a field (Worcestershire)
Not been on the forum for some time now, but now I need to identify a plant and thought i'd see if anyone on here could help.
This thing has grown in my veg patch and i'm moving house soon, it's quite an attractive plant and I may dig it up and pot it depending on what it is and how poisonous it is.
I thought it was a datura but the flowers are wrong so i'm at a loss as to what it might be.

Can anyone help.

Thanks guys, got it now.

It is Nicandra Physalodes, part of the Solanaceae family commonly called Apple-of-Peru or Shoo-fly plant.

Once again thanks for the help, the only thing to decide now is weather to keep it as a pot plant or not.

Jon.
