I'm compiling a list of places (which I have left somewhere else 
But for now I would suggest the scout sites, have a look online and find a few local ones, they are usually quite helpful. I will get the list up as soon as I can. Some of the scout sites are huge and you can just fine a little area for yourself and do what you want.

Dont know what part of kent you are from, but while on the subject of Scout camps, I use Buckmore park in Chatham for running survival courses for the scouts.
This site is very quiet especially in the winter months cheap rates £2.20 per night and very easy to lose yourself in its many acres of woodland.
Their phone number is 01634-672237.
If you fancy poping over when the next course is running gis a ring on 07866-262769, and I will give you the directions.
