Thought this would suit someone who likes the F1's blade profile and convex grind but think it is too thick and would prefere wooden handle.

Blade made by Stuart Mitchell

4mm thick convex ground blade with tapered Tang

Handle is striped Ebony secured with hidden corby bolts and stainless lanyard tube, oh and it has black liners

Fine looking knife. I like the tapered tang. In your opinion, how does this style handle compare to the more contoured style? Todd

Horses for courses. A fishtail handle is easier to remove from the sheath but this style of handle a lot of people find more comfortable.

Personally i dont mind either way

That's a beautifuly looking knife.

One day once I've learned more with the Clipper I'll have to set about either trying to make one myself or getting one made.
