Trail is OK if you buy it now and then for something to read. Don't get sucked into the subscription thing as the corresponding month each year has the the same articles in. Plenty of good routes covering the whole country is the attraction to me.
Has anybody noticed the odd guy in trail that models all the clothing and gear? I reckon he must be the editor and won't let anybody else on the photos.

Bushcraft great mag but I must admit they have let themselves down a bit with the naff diary!

Go into any Mc Donalds anywhere in the world... Look at the images behind the counter of the food they are selling. Then look at the burger you just bought. Is it the same as the image?????

One aspect of advertising and marketing is all about making stuff more appealing than it actually is...

Actually I was part of the team that worked on those and I wrote the handbook for staff training. If things are being done correctly, then they should match near exact. But I agree with the sentiment of your comment. I now work within the travel industry and WE are extremely careful not to misrepresent destinations. But this is now drifting off topic.

I do manage to pick up the "Bushcraft magazine" from time to time, and i agree, a damn good magazine!
Kepis was right with his suggestion! Diary makes good tinder!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:lmao::campfire:
