Hi,
Our company are looking for a Bushcraft / Survival skills instructor(s) who can deliver (or part deliver) our 1 day & overnight bushcraft / survival experience in the Brecon Beacons. Work is on a casual basis, mainly weekends during the spring and summer and will depend upon bookings. Our typical customers are Stag & Hen groups, the experience usally includes:
Morning
Welcome Basic Skills Use of knives,
Axes & Saws Knots, Lashings,
Ropes & Frames Construction
Navigation
Afternoon
Woodland gathering of materials
Shelter Building
Friction Fire and other methods
Oven Building
Food preparation i.e. gutting fish or skinning rabbits and cooking
Evening:
Evening Meal & overnight camping - sleep in your own made shelter or tents
Breakfast next morning
Light breakfast i.e. Bacon roll or continental breakfast / Tea & Coffee
The ideal applicants will have relevant experience in teaching the above Bushcraft / Survival skills or similar and should be enthusiastic, personable, with an up to date First Aid qualification. We would also consider this role being shared by individuals with different skills, so if you only possess some of the skills we require we would be interested in hearing from you
Rates of pay will vary depending upon experience but would typically be £120-£180 per day (includes overnight stay)
