Hi Chaps.

I want one of them seats you make onsite, just get 3 straight sticks and feed through canvas etc..

No idea where to start, do they sell them? Ive no idea how to explain it..

Get 3 strong straight sticks, put into a triangle, attach material to it, el presto, a seat!

Apart from making one myself out of canvas or strong material, anyone can help? do they sell them? do you have a design? any pictures ?

I think they were originally made from strong sacks (flour sacks?)

cut a hole in the bottom corners to thread the horizontal pole through - bunch up the top and tie a rope loop around it to attach to the top of the triangle. - You will need another 'prop' stick to hold the back of the triangle, or prop it against a tree?

If I have got the tech stuff right then this should be the video of how to make this sort of chair, which I have seen made with flour sacks, rubbish sacks or even hammocks

Perfect Southey! Thats exactly what I wanted, nice and simple. Time to get rid of the blacks foldable chair as it really kills my back.

Just another question, are these chairs as comfy as they look? Anyone tried and tested?

not sure how that Jerry-chair really works, seems it has no support but just something dry to sit on? I really need back support =(

Thanks Slasha 9 for the link! :)

I just bought 2 bags from my local army stores, a mesh laundry bag and a draw string waterproof bag - both look like have potential as bush chairs - only a couple of quid a piece

I usually make one when I'm camping out of an old mesh hammock. I can confirm that they are very comfy after a little bit of fettling.
