im looking for one of those only need to wear one layer buffalo thingys,any ideas where i might look?,cheaper the better please.

As far as I'm aware Buffalo clothing is made by Perseverance Mills, who make Pertex, who have just gone bust. I may well be wrong though.

Not a pointer to where to get one from, but also take a look at the Montane range of smocks. I'd say that the Montane designs are just that bit better thought out.

i've just been looking for a buffalo for the girlfriend for christmas, www.upandunder.co.uk is the cheapest i've managed to find so far, if i come up with anything cheaper i shall let you know.

I'd go for a Field Smock by Extreme Outdoor Clothing. They tailor them to your size, you get to choose the fabric type/colour (they send you samples), have more venting options than a buffalo and are about £25 cheaper. Nice people to deal with too !

I got one to replace my buffalo and wouldn't go back.
