Buffalo Horn Catapult

Hi all, new to the forum so i have no idea what bit i should be posting this in.
I am looking for a buffalo horn catapult. Can anyone help?

Thought about using a walking stick top - like these? About a third of the way down the page

They need some work - not least filing grooves in each fork. I've used both - for flat bands like theraband - or they can be adapted to use the thin chinese tubes. They make good cattys.

but really don't trust myself to make one. I wouldn't have a clue where to start.
