Hi all
I recall polishing the blade on this little CK bowie knife then using it to scoff my brekkie at work as the plastic knife that came with the full English snapped!!
When I got it out to wash it at home it had stained it, I thought i'd have another go at some better definition (Didn't realise it would do this when I was cuttin the bacon up!!!!)
I covered the whole blade with sauce but the centre where it was thickest didn't actually stain it, it seems it would only work if left to dry out!!
As i'd dabbed it with my finger, the middle was the thickest and was still wet a couple of hours later when I washed it off!!
I quite like the patination and may polish the blade to a better finish and then have another bash!!
Has anyone else had a go?? I read that Mustard was very good too!!
John
