An initial six lots for those who want to make their own everlasting nightlight, camp marker, gear marker etc.

Lasts waaaaaay longer than Zinc Sulfide, 12 hours at least. Much brighter, lasts forever and non-toxic. Most effective when the rod photo-receptor cells in your eyes are activated for night vision. Should be effective as a tent, shelter, hammock nightlight.

A bit of practical fun to try out and cheaper as a small group buy.

I may also do 100g of Strontium Aluminate 300 mesh powder in the future for less than £10. Endless things you can do with that including add it to paint or make your own glow in the dark moldable Oogoo (Sugru) for your kit.

P.S. This can be used in epoxy, varnish, latex, resin, vinyls, plastics etc., the 300 mesh powder is particularly good for this. The very large 1mm to 2mm particle size is particularly good for use on its own but obviously not so good in a paint, varnish etc.

I'm thinking of actually running this for the 100g of powder at £9.70 instead as you get over 7x more for your money and PMs are suggesting people want to mix this with epoxy rather than use it on its own as large crystals. The boffins conservatively estimate this stuff will last more than 20 years, it doesn't wear out. This stuff even gets mixed into concrete to make the pavement glow!

If your eyes are allowed to adjust to the dark then it will glow all night.

Yep, you can certainly identify the Alpha Dog in the dark with this stuff. Good gracious!

Info and list has been swapped over to the new group buy for powder rather than 1-2mm crystals.

If anyone is interested in having the 1-2mm stuff rather than the 300 mesh then stick your name down and we will gauge interest but I think the 300 mesh looks like the more popular useful option as it can be easily mixed.
