Boxing Day Bimble...

Hi, managed to palm the kids off for an hour or two this morning and as the weather was gorgeous, Alison and I decided to take the dog on the Moor, to a place i had not been to for years Smokey Cross, forgot just how beautiful it was, bit of a trek, but worth it as hopefully few pics will tell.

Blew the old cobwebs away and managed an Ermintrude impression with (come on you guys, my favourite tasting wild thing, extra point for telling me what it tastes like!)

Saw a roe doe, but she was too quick for the camera.

Looks a bonny place Ivan, was going to say nasturtium leaf for the edible but it's not really wild here (though nice and peppery in a salad). Had a nice bimble myself.
