Bosun's Brush
1/2" manila rope folded in half. 2 ends tied in 2 strand diamond (lanyard) knot. Ends combed out and trimmed. Great brush for removing crumbs from tablecloth.

That's really nice work there. I suppose if you kept the brush end shorter you could use one as a brush to baste BBQ meat and the likes.
Cheers for sharing.

I'm having another look and now I need to add 1/2" manilla to the long list of things on my project list.

Think I'll have a new BBQ brush. Thanks again.

I've just ordered a metre of 36mm rope to make snow brushes with...and I ordered some whipping string too. Now all I have to do is learn how to tie whips...

Great idea! as I am currently failing on the Hazel brush

I have just ordered 2 metres on Ebane, I hope that is going to be enough....

I bet these ebayers are confused witht the sudden influx in sales of malina rope
