Hello,
Looking for help from Border Folk,and those in southern Scotland.My Brother is coming up in a few weeks and instead of the usual beach camping that we usually do when he visits he fancies camping near a forrest,Loch,river type enviroment. Im not to knowledgeable on good area's inland in the borders,(ive passed many good looking spots but dont know names/details etc) if im not beach camping here i tend to go further north,so can any of you guy's point out a few decent locations that fit the bill, will probably be either tenting or tarping, will be wanting a fire but can take a firebox to contain it. Will be going 21st till 23rd so if anyone fancies popping over feel free. thanks in adavance.
One last point im about as East as you can get(without getting wet) in southern Scotland and due to time constraints and the fact my brothers drove from Portsmouth to be here, really central borders area's if possible the West coast area is to far to travel for this one.
