As the title suggests. Are there good books on the subject like spooncarving or carving woodspirits? Which books can you recommend?

The Book of Sloyd is another good one.It can usually be found as a free download some where. I know that BCUSA has it available in their downloads section.

Fox Chapel Publishing (in the U.S.) has dozens of titles on all sorts of wood carving styles, projects, etc.
plus Wood Carving Illustrated magazine. Excellent WCI Forum website, too.
