I played a game called Codenames the other day and that was quite fun.

More for a group of 6 or so, I’d say.

Yes.

We don't do any complicated rules of lives, etc though.

Warm up with one card each with maybe up to 20 cards in the deck to make sure everyone understands.

Then a couple of cards each. Then increase the options to 50. Then vary as the group can manage with different quantities of cards dealt / deck size.

If the play fails it's game over.

It's really quite simple when you see it.

It's a fantastic Dungeons and Dragons style game without spoiling itself by getting too overly complicated and serious. Just straight forward fun.
