Blogs and the real you?

Bushcrafter (boy, I've got a lot to say!)
I have a blog which no one really reads and its more just a place for me to put my ramblings down. Haven't updated mine in ages and now its asking if I want to turn on Google+ features. This would then use my Google+ profile instead of my online persona. I'm not sure if I want two to merge.

Just wondering what other people who have blogs do? Keep you real identity secret or don't you care who knows your online and real life names?

What's the danger of putting down your name somewhere? As long as you don't just put your adress and phone number everywhere you should be fine I think:) Correct me if I'm wrong though.

Depends a little. In some online fora, like this one, I would not mind going by my real name.
On a blog where I may have political or religious oppinions...I would prefer anonymity. Simply because my emplyer, or future employers may not like hat I choose to use my freedom of expression to voice.
What you upload, stays on the net forever.
