Hi,

Does anyone have any wood hanging around that is not being used that would be good for a handle for a stick tang knife?

Going to attempt to handle my first knife.

Thanks
T.

Any wood will do..... easy enough to find a bit of dead ash/oak etc in the woods.

Or do you want something a bit more fancy?

I have seen nice plywood handle. It is quit cheap material and it can dye with colour too. You don´t have to seasoned it too. If you prefer more curly birch I can help you. I have curly birch and normal birch too.
