Biethanol fires?

Has anybody used them and what are your thoughts ?They seem very expensive to burn?

Decorative really Gill. I had a small one and flogged it to a mate. You can use ceramic wool to increase fuel efficiency but still thirsty. I still use the fuel in my meths stoves though

We have a small burner for our living room. It does make a few degrees difference to a room and it is very aesthetically pleasing to sit and look at an open flame in our living room. It costs me about £5 for 2 litres and that lasts about 2 months at a time.
