Hi there,
I've been a member since November but it seems my manners have deserted me as I completely missed this bit of the forums.
I'm originally from Northumberland but live in Cambridgeshire now, which is alright but a bit flat. I've always enjoyed being outdoors but my reliance on the really big bag of 'everything and the kitchen sink' has interfered with my ability to really feel, hmm, involved with the environment, so I'm starting to try to move towards knowing (a lot) more and carrying (a bit) less.
I can see that there's a lot of good knowledge and expertise here - speaking for myself, I know nohtheeng but I'm willing to give new skills a hearty go and take it on the chin when it all goes horribly wrong okenest:
What's your most essential piece of bushcraft equipment? Is it:
a) Bushcraft knife
b) Tarp & paracord
c) First aid kit
d) That stuff between yer ears
e) Sense of humour
f) All of the above
g) Other?
