Another idea for sawdust. Could it not be mixed with either resin, plaster or stone powder. Poured into moulds, then surface sanded to give a timber effect.

This probably wouldn't work but if I had a tonne of sawdust I'd be looking for uses too. Don't like wasting.

One last thing, the wood chips, if they are garden mulch sort of size. Then its brilliant fuel for a wood gas stove, pieces that small would get the temperature very high.

In the woods if possible.
I use sawdust and chainsaw chippings to burn waste oil. When I change the oil in the truck I have gallons of oil to get rid of. Rather than pay to dispose of a fuel I get a baked bean can full of sawdust, pour about 100ml of oil into it and leave it to soak into the chippings. Then I put it in the wood burner and make the fire. It burns all the oil and the wood cleanly, and without undue excitement. The bean can only lasts a few burns before it burns through.

Caution advised, don't put a can full of oil on the fire or you'll be calling the fire brigade. :yikes:

Reminds me of the Panorama report they did into "direct marketing" and Royal Mail, they shedded the stuff and made it into bricks, best use of direct marketing EVER!
