We have found archaeologists to be very pleasant as were the members of the Lithic Society that visited us when we were at Durrington Walls, next to Woodhenge near Stonehenge as the Living History contributors of the Stonehenge Riverside Project. In fact we have met very few grumps or obsessives
anywhere.

I used to medieval plate armour battle re-enactment but nowstick with 17th Century living history and the occasional 17th Cent Piratebattle re-enactment. Much prefer the historic living history these days ratherthan the beer and bash type I used to do.
