Basket makers hatchet

Thought I'd share this picture to other blade collectors.
I recently acquired this nice little basket makers hatchet, a quick clean up and a sharpen and it looks good to go to work, the blade in 15X5 cm and is 5mm thick at the top.

That's a nice item, I've a similar home made one I was given that I use a fair bit in the shed, finding it more handy than an axe very often...

I don't know, you can judge for yourself on Wednesday's bimble as will have it in my bergen.
We can use as a froe for the afternoon.
