Baked Potatoes

To make them cook quicker and taste almost half baked half roast potato make them into hasselback potatoes. Thinly slice almost all the way through drizzle with oil, salt and herbs and bake in a dutchie or covered roasting tin. Quicker than whole tatties as the heat gets in quicker. Can be done with small or large tatties. I cook tatties this way at home a lot as it's quicker and so tasty.

They look amazing just had tea now feel hungry again

On a trip we took we somehow forgot to pack Billy's and on the first night we had x2 spit roast birds stuffed with sweet potatoes garlic and burdock root we weren't sure if it would work on the spit but it was probably the best I've ever had the juice from the bird cooked the veg to perfection and no washing up
