Has anyone used one of these -

and do you think they would be any good for bushcrafty type activites, the price seems ok and Bacho are a well known name, what do you think?

Thanks for the reply, may well buy one as the thread is not for or against, apperence wise i can see the point but if it does the job......... end of the day its only a tool ?!

Did you notice the names of the shops in the links - I don't know whether the £27.50 includes p&p though.

Someone else(sorry i forgot who) raised this question recently, i handled one in a local diy/garden centre, and did'nt like it one bit, i'm not an axe snob, so have no biase, and there were cheaper, and in my humble opinion better handling small axes available.

thanks for replys, just bought another axe from ebay, a bit rettro but by a good maker, i'll see how that works out for now
