There is a thread asking if anyone felt a spiritual connection to the land.

I feel a spiritual connection to bacon.

Bacon cup cakes are a thing and they are good. Bacon lines a muffin tin with an egg cracked and poured inside of it. Bake for 10-15 minutes and you get a crispy bacon outside and an over medium egg on the inside. Damn I'm hungry now. I just ordered my bacon cure and next week I'll be making my own bacon.

Last year my brother-in-law's wife's family came over from Germany on Holiday and introduced me to a new BBQ side dish. Now I don't usually have any time for the "frilly" food that people add to a BBQ, it just gets in the way of the meat, but this just snuck in due to the pig content: new potatoes almost completely cooked, wrapped in bacon and skewered with a rosemary stalk, few minutes over the coals Tidy!

As the saying goes: "Everything tastes better with butter and bacon"
