Yup barely back from holiday on Orkney and I needed to visit some trees so after work on Friday I was up in the woods.
In 3 weeks the brambles had grown 3 foot long and blocked the path so I had to cut my way into the site!
I was joined by our new member Jonathon and we spent the weekend looking at some skills, touring the site and bramble bashing to keep the site from disappearing!

I also restrung my basha high line with polyhemp - a poly pro rope that looks like natural fiber - a much better look than builders blue and just as rotproof!
The weather was not great - after the heatwave it was a disappointment - but no waterproofs need being worn and lots of chat was had as we got to know each other.
Not a bad return to trees after 3 weeks away from any woodland!
