I've been so busy over the summer with shows and courses that I've not posted any of my recent work for ages. Now that the last show of the year is over, I thought I'd share some of the things I've been making

first up is this sweet little hawk.

Vital statistics:

Head is 4 3/4" long with a cutting edge of just 1 3/4"
Handle is just under 17" in length (drop through tomohawk stylee)
Total weight 336g

handle is made from fire blackened ash (from my woodland)
Head is mild steel with a cutting edge of EN42J
sheath of cowhide

Samon, as it happens I just updated my website today with all (i think) of the shinies I have been making over the summer. I'll be concentrating on my backlog over the winter,so there won't be anything new again for a while
