Moot2012-08.jpgDSCF6691.jpgI made one on the same course (with help from Biker as I was not fully recovered from Tennis Elbow) and it shoots at about 40lbs.
I too reshaped the grip after I got home and it is now more comfortable without excess bulk, yet still shoots well :)
The picture on the right is of a "Father/Son" bow I made with Seoras the year before - that too shoots at about 40lbs.

Inspiring! I'll be trying this as soon as I can procure bamboo of the right size and condition. It looks easier than what I've tried so far (incomplete)...

I hope David Cameron doesn't see this page. It might give him new ideas on cuts to "defence spending" if he sees those marines... :aargh4:
