Basically, is they a way for me to find out if I'll like sleeping in a hammock without buying one?

Then you'll learn how to set up properly too.

IME, everyone has this thought before they hang.

After one night in a good hammock, the question has been answered for them.

Buy one,and if your one of the 1% who don't get on with them, flog it to someone on here.

TKMaxx were selling the TrekMates hammocks recently for about £12, maybe get one of those and if you don't like it either take it back or flog it on.
