I forgot about the laurels
Pointy wee fruits, growing like the wild cherries ? Not much flesh around the seed on the ones I've seen. How big did your's grow ? the ones I saw were no more than 8 or 9mm long.

Our were marble sized this year so were the sloes which were a little smaller than normal, damsons and green gauges were smaller too

Its the fruit of prunus spinosa AKA blackthorn aka sloe.
