As per title - just wondered if anyone on BCUK had done the Journeyman course. I saw a few discussions on it in the forums when I searched but wasn't sure if anyone had actually done it either way.
That's great, I know it's been running for a long time. I just finished it on Saturday and thought it was absolutely amazing. I wonder if it has changed much over the years...Yes, I did about 15 years ago.
It was a good course that really pushed you.
Apparently it's been running for 40 years, I think it is very well refined. Hope to meet you both at the next Bushmoot and share experiences.Same here. About 20 years ago. Or longer now. Might be nearer 30 years. You won’t be bored doing it that’s for sure.

When I did it Ray was there for part of it but not involved very much with the course. He spent some time with us but for most of it he was either deer hunting or fishingCan I ask, does Woodlore only offer the Journeyman with Ray in attendance now?
The reason I ask is that, when I've checked over the last year or two, the course has only been available as 'being led by Ray', which means an extra £1k added to the course price. When I did it Ray was there for part of it but not involved very much with the course. I believe so yes, I possibly would have taken the other option as well but in hindsight I'm glad it was with Ray.The reason I ask is that, when I've checked over the last year or two, the course has only been available as 'being led by Ray', which means an extra £1k added to the course price.
They don't seem to run it with other instructors leading any more.
