Another leather belt bag

This is a belt bag I`ve just made. I had some leather scraps and found out I had to use them for something, and a belt bag sounded just right.
The front of the bag.

The leather is chromium tanned, and already dyed black in the "factory". I really wanted a brown bag but didn`t have large enough pieces of undyed leather to make one.
The bag with the flap open.

The tread used is white waxed linen. And I`ve used saddle stitches.
This is my first leather belt bag. But I don`t think it will be my last.

Lovely work Tor ....I really must learn to do leather work - I would be as pleased as anything to make something that good (make one for me sometime?)

It is my first attempt to sew a belt bag, but not my first in sewing leather in general.
I guess it took about 3-4 ours. It`s hard to sew heavy leather by hand .
