The banks of the Deveron.
Yesterday was my tenth wedding anniversary and my wife and I decided we wanted a family walk in Purbeck, one of our favourite places.

We chose a quiet part near a great pub with a good walk.

There was sea mist, high humidity and sun!

The hills were bigger and tougher than they looked. So much so the mapping software told us the 10km walk should take us almost 3 hours! The dogs slowed down a lot after initial running like loons, the sea mist didn't cool us.

We finished in The Square and Compass in Worth and then with a Meal at a Hall and Woodhouse - great Steak and Tanglefoot Ale Pie.

Any pics say more so here they are:

Looks like a good day out, great to see kids with some ambition.

I love being on the tops when the valley bottom is in mist. There was a picture in the ladybird book of weather of a post van heading down into the misty valley that I thought was fantastic when I was a kid.
