Animal bone identification.

Is there anyone here who would know, or does anyone know of a site than can identify an animal bone/horn?

I found this in the garden today and have'nt a clue what it is. It's definately not anything i've eaten! It's about 6 inches long but has been snapped off at the bottom, which made me think it may be horn? It's about an inch and a half across at the thickest bit.

Please tell me it's animal!

I think it could be a rib too, but to be honest I'm not an expert. I'll get my better half to have a look when she gets in, she knows her animal bones.

Any chance of a bigger pic? I'm squinting a bit

Take it up the butchers and ask what they think. Might help if you buy something while you are there.
