An evening bimble in the shadow of long Knoll.

took the kids and the dogs out for a bimblde in the shadow of long knoll,a local hill landmark,just perfect conditions,saw a Roe buck and all manner of birdlife,stopped in a copse for a brew and then headed home,heres some pics:

quite possible theres an 'artist' living nearby that did a giant piece with CD's a while back.

no hill fort as such,there is a burial mound on the top next to the trig point,some roman coins have been found there too.
