Hi there folk!
I was commisioned to make a stand for a pair of deer's antlers. As I haven't done any before so I was very pleased with the opportunity given. Especialy as the lad provided me with a solid piece of oak. I spend a day in a shed came out with this:
It wasn't that hard but took me a looooooong time to carve it. Although it was a great experiance learning to use gouge and a mallet. And the tricky bit is to get the antler in "natural" position, as you'd see it on a deer, a second bracket needet to fit it properly... Kind a good project if you have antlers around
What do you recon?
Andy
