The top one (2006) is from a Dogwood tree. The other one is Sweet Gum.
They are a lot of fun to make and always draw a crowd.

Hey that's a great spoon. Whereabouts in N.C. are you from. I am from florida and my boy scout troop goes to camp raven knob by mount airy,nc every summer.

I am about 30 miles from CRK! My son has been camping there for close to 10 years. He is Chapter Chief of OA here. Do you come up with the troop? I may have to come out to the camp and see ya some time.

Well, now that's pretty cool to meet a neighbor on a bulletin board that is based in a country across the ocean.
