The GB is now closed for new orders.

I'm sending the totals to the states tonight. When the weight, shipping, price for braid, paypal fees, postage and VAT are worked out after hearing back, I'll post the corresponding amounts here. There is a bit of juggling with line to do over there, to fill reels and finalise that end. It should be sorted hopefully by Thursday.

If you are sharing postage with others (Trunks?),let me know when you Paypal me.
I have to pay for the line etc before it leaves the states, so If you could Paypal me asap after posting, it will speed things along nicely:).

Unless arranged with me , any line not paid for will not be ordered.
I don't want lumbering with a 1000ft of line-it might tempt me to hang my hammock across something stupid :)

I'm seeing how this one goes first, but its a possibility. With so many orders, thier could be some spare. Watch this space.

Teepee,

Do you think that you'll be able to do another group buy in the future? I moved digs at work and my mobile internet didn't work in the new place so I've missed the boat on this one.

Cheers, Michael.

If there's no spares you can have my order if you like Michael.

I've got all the whoopie slings I'll ever need but couldn't resist yet another group buy

Thanks for the offer Rich, but I'm wanting some in green. Have you got a pic of your whoopee sling setup btw? I'm seriously reducing the weight of my hammocking kit so that it's more suitable for travelling by foot. Being confined to a desk most of the time at work for the last few years has had a serious effect on my waistline, so no matter how much I enjoy canoeing, I'm going to have to return to my first love, fellwalking, and that means reducng the weight of my overnight kit.

Cheers, Michael.

i'll swap 100ft of my green for 100ft of shewies silver if that'll help out. not really fussed about the colour :)

Nice one Simon, sounds like you're sorted then Michael. When the order comes, see if there's any going spare and if not let me know we can sort it out.

I'll have a look through my pics and see if there's any decent shots of my setup

Dang it, missed the deadline by three days! Probably a completely stupid question, but any ideas when you might be putting another group buy together Pete? :(

Cheers,

Chris

Hehe. I can see Rich and me ending up with no amsteel. :)

I'm seeing how this one goes first, but if all goes sweet, I may well do another. Its good to give something back, and there is obviously a liking for the stringy goodness.

Funny you should say that. I was reading an article in Science magazine last week, written by the Norwegian scientist Ernst Schlegalaffel, who for his PhD has managed to categorically prove that the world actually only spins on its axis because of the effects of stringy goodness! :D
