Altberg Mallerstang Veldt Boots

Hi,

Does anyone own a pair of Altberg Mallerstang Boots, I'm thinking of buying a pair but would be interested in a review,

Hi,

I haven't got the Mallerstangs but I have had a pair of Altberg walking boots (Mckinleys, I think) for about 8 years now nd they've been fantastic. They still get plenty of use but I'm thinking of getting them refurbished at the Altberg factory. When I first got them I had to go to the factory for a bit of aftercare fitting and the help and advice was fantastic. I wouldn't consider getting boots from anywhere else. In fact, I'm planning a trip to the factory to get a new pair of military boots, made just for my feet.

I don't know William Lennon, so I can't help.

Where are you thinking of buying from? I only ask because it's best to try boots on before you buy, and make sure that you try them on wearing the socks you expect to be wearing when using the boots (if that makes sense). Try boots on in the afternoon, too: your feet swell during the day and your boots must be able to account for this.
