and I cant fault it to be honest, they are so warm, infact its hanging over the back of my chair now :)
I also know Gary from Bearclaw Bushcraft sells them on his site, with or without silicone backing, as well as a few others.

Or if you want a cheap and cheerful version, buy yourself a sheepskin rug and use that ( I have one of those too)

I've a Fat Airic as well as a standard Airic and either would probably be OK in the hammock (though it does depend to some extent on what hammock you have, how it's set up etc). Obviously the Fat Airic would give a slightly more robust shape to your hammock. I'd agree though that a reindeer skin is pretty much ideal for a hammock, but the Airic's would probably be a better all-round solution for hammocks, bivis etc.

(I have to say that I've spent about three weeks this year sleeping on my Fat Airic, and find it tremendously comfortable.)

Razorstrop, how foldable is it ? Do you think it would be easy to pack for hammocking ?
