Anyone going to Alpkit's Big Shakeout festival weekend this year?

Me and the wife were thinking about going but don't know what to expect. Would you say it's worth going for those of you who have been?

Just had a nose... Looks kinda cool if you want to learn about climbing and a few other outdoor subjects.

I did see 'bushcraft' mentioned, but they seem to interpret that as a willow workshop. Maybe next year!

Be nice if you could hammock on-site.

Yeah not really a Bushy weekend from the website. I'm not really a climber either.... don't really know why we want to go to be honest!

Outdoor people are generally outdoor people I think. It'll still be a great day out.

Hi Guys,

We really tried to get more bushcraft activities at the Big Shakeout, but couldn't find anyone qualified to do it. There's still plenty to do at the event, even if it's just using the site as somewhere to camp. Last chance to book tickets is this weekend, so make sure you don't miss out!
