After reading as a guest for quite some time, I've decided to join this forum. First reason is because you guys give more usefull info imo than you're Dutch colleagues and second because me and my bushbuddy are visiting Scotland in spring 2014.

I hope to learn some usefull things from you and maybe I can give some tips on where to go in my region.

That's a very good question. For now the only thing I know is that we're leaving on may 23 and fly to Glasgow. After that is one of the things I hope find out on thi forum!

So, I know, wrong place, but we are looking for an area which can be reached by train and has a combination of open plains and forest and a river to fish in. Any ideas?
