The idea behind using an all leather closure is that there is no buckle to dig into your belly when bending over. I also wanted to avoid having a dangly bit of leather at the front as in other versions of the same closure. It works! It's a secure, strong closure that proves effective and comfortable in use.
This was a prototype that has been used a little. It is 1.5" buffalo leather and will fit a 34" waist, with an extra slot for after a big meal.
I can make others to order in any width or length though they will be in cow hide and the maker's mark will be embossed not stitched, with linear stitching either side. I can incorporate the money-belt component from my other thread, or other design features for a little extra.
