Just in case anyone local was interested, The Aldi store in Wishaw has Crane Sports 44L Dry bags for sale at £5.50. They're bright Yellow and made of heavy weight PVC coated polyester. I reckon they would stand up to a fair bit of abuse. Just out of interest I filled one with air and it quite happily supported my full weight, about 17 and a half stone.
