I have a self inflating Vango mat which has developed a pin hole leak right on the seam. Position means that it's highly unlikely that a patch would stay on.

Has anyone sealed this with superglue or something similar.

Cheers

I put a (slightly bigger than a) pin hole in my thermarest with a cinder about 11 years ago. I just put a blob of thermarest's own glue on there and its still going strong, that werent on a seam though

I wouldn't use super glue as theres no flex in it. I tried it on a cheapo air once and it didn't last very long, made it worse in fact

I don't know what was in the little tube that came with my TaR but it may be something like stormsure, i'v never used that for anything under pressure before though so i cant say if it will work or not

I'd give rubber cement a shot at that, it's the glue you get in cycle puncture repair kits
